About Gerda

About us

Gerda was the wife of Düsseldorf architect, hotel and real estate entrepreneur Otto Lindner, who died in 2020, and is the center of a large family. As a real head of the family, she shaped and passed on the host gene in the Lindner family.
Today, the third generation of the family continues to manage and develop the serviced apartments — with the same standards of hospitality, quality and contemporary living. The goal of Gerda's grandchildren is to combine the best of two worlds: personal service combined with the benefits of digitization.

Rheinhof

The Rheinhof was completed in 1978 by architect Otto Lindner and is an architectural highlight for lovers of brutalism. Originally designed as a groundbreaking mixed-use property for the 1980s, the building brought together hotels, restaurants, offices, apartments and living under one roof.

The high-rise building on Felix-Klein-Straße 1 stands out with its intricately designed, wave-shaped design façade, which is reminiscent of American models of the 80s. With a height of 51 meters, it rises significantly above the surrounding residential areas and shapes the cityscape. On the ground floor, there is a Düsseldorf gastronomic institution, the Lezzet impresses with modern Turkish-Mediterranean cuisine.
